Lisa Marsh Principal/Singing Teacher

As a child Lisa was given Classical singing tuition, providing a firm foundation to develop a wide range of styles throughout her career. Lisa has an eclectic taste in music and enjoys singing many genres, with a special fondness for Musical Theatre, Pop and Jazz.

She began singing professionally during her late teens and has performed as a soloist, with bands, duos and trios, at weddings, corporate events, parties, casinos, theatres, social clubs and hotels. She often spent summer seasons entertaining audiences at Butlins, Haven, Pontins and other holiday destinations all over the UK. Later her career took her abroad, including 8 months singing in Spanish hotels and singing on P&O ships.

Lisa has enjoyed supporting famous faces such as Herman's Hermits, Roger De Courcey, Carlo Paul Santana and Lizzie Wiggins and has a BA (Hons) degree in Popular Music & BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts.

Lisa now focuses most of her efforts on teaching others and helping them reach their full potential. She has taught singing in various Primary and Secondary schools around the West Midlands, delivering one to one tuition and working with choirs/ensembles. Lisa teaches children and adults privately in choir settings and one to one, with students often doing their exams in pop and Musical Theatre, many of them achieving high passes with distinctions in grades 1 to 8.

Lisa also performs with Talulla Wheatley and co-owns/co-leads Lyric Call youth and adult choir, which is a sister company to Show Call.


Talulla Wheatley Admin Manager / Dance Teacher / Choreographer

Talulla has been dancing for over 20 years. She has studied in a variety of disciplines including Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Ballet and Musical Theatre. After training at Centre Stage Theatre School for the majority of her childhood, performing in a large number of on stage variety shows, she went on to do more workshops training with London’s West End professionals and took part in dance classes at London’s well known Pineapple Dance Studios. 

Working with children at multiple performing arts academies, she has gained a wealth of hands on experience and knowledge. Prior to this, Talulla has also taught children’s dance fitness in a local gym.

Talulla studied dance at GSCE level receiving an A grade. She then went on to study at Birmingham Ormiston Academy, earning herself a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Musical Theatre, achieving a triple Distinction*. Talulla excels in all 3 disciplines and is a real asset to the company! During her time at BOA, she performed in various shows, leading as ‘Millie Dillmount’ and ‘Alexandra Spofford’ at The Old Rep Theatre in Birmingham. 

She began singing professionally at the age of 15, fronting bands at different venues, weddings and functions, and continues to do so now with Lisa Marsh. They also co-own and lead Lyric Call youth and adult choir, which is a sister company to Show Call. Talulla teaches singing and dancing in both primary and secondary schools throughout the Dudley borough. She has also taken part in amateur dramatic productions, yearly pantomimes and musicals in her spare time. 

Talulla is committed not only in teaching, but also communicating her passion and dedication to her students. She loves nothing more than helping to build confidence and watching her students’ progress into confident young performers.


Jack Sanders Acting Teacher/ Director

From an early age, Jack has been fortunate enough to gain professional experience in various aspects of the industry including Stage, TV and Film. Some of his credits include Doctors (BBC) and A McDonald’s advert filmed in Zurich Switzerland.  One of his main achievements so far was playing the role of Aerobic Al in ‘Horrid Henry the Movie’ alongside commonly known, household names like Dick and Dom, Jo Brand, Kimberly Walsh and Noel Fielding. The film was shown in Cinemas across the United Kingdom gaining great success and is still today, a popular family film that is regularly televised.

Jack also has a background in radio, obtaining work at the BBC as part of the technical support team and in production, having taken a devised show to Edinburgh Fringe Festival!

After achieving a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Musical Theatre at Birmingham Orminston Academy (BOA), Jack then went on to further his studies and is now a graduate from The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts with a BA Honours degree in Acting.  

Jack is an enthusiastic team member with an undeniable passion for acting and is eager to share his knowledge in the industry with his students.

Stephen Taylor Acting Teacher

Stephen is no stranger to the stage. With his experience in performance spanning over 40 years, he has undertaken many roles within pantomime and plays. His performance history includes roles such as; Buttons in ‘Cinderella’, Wishee Washee and Abanazer in ‘Aladdin’, The Beast in ‘Beauty and the Beast’, Elwood P. Dowd in ‘Harvey’, Captain Bertorelli in ‘Allo Allo’, Ariel in ‘Return to the Forbidden Planet’, various Politicians, RAF Officers, the list continues...

His experience in not only limited to on stage performance, he has also taken on roles off stage, as a producer and as backstage support and lighting. He has taken courses in pyrotechnics, stage combat and weapons training which allows Steve to bring a vast amount of knowledge and experience into his lessons.

Steve is a big music fanatic and presents the ‘Retro Rock’ show and ‘The Green Room’ on Black Country Radio. He enjoys playing the guitar and has played in various bands and orchestras for several shows.

Jessica Skidmore Acting Teacher

Jessica has been involved in acting, singing and dancing from an early age. She has been performing with dramatic and operatic companies, taking part in plays, musicals and pantomimes. She has also performed as a singer and actor in professional stage performances at the Birmingham Crescent and the Redditch Palace Theatre. Her performances include roles such as Swallow in the musical ‘Whistle down the Wind’ by Andrew Lloyd Webber and plays such as ‘A Murder Is Announced’ by Agatha Christie, ‘The Lady in the Van’ by Alan Bennett and ‘The Real Inspector Hound’ by Tom Stoppard. 

Her latest roles include Princess Jasmine from the pantomime 'Aladdin', The Lilac Fairy from the pantomime 'Sleeping Beauty' and Dorothy Gale from the musical 'The Wizard of Oz'. She also has several film projects in the running including horror comedy 'Bad Things' by Worcester based Hopwood Films. 

She studied at the Birmingham School of Art, earning herself a Degree with Honours in Art and Design and a Masters in Fine Art, both of which have included theatre and performance studies. During her studies, Jess took part in independent films in and around the Midlands. Taking on various character roles, as well as working as a props designer and makeup artist. Since lockdown, she has been building up a props business of her own gaining credits for various film, TV and theatre projects. This includes 'Leader', a short film made by Oscar Winner Chris Overton, and 'Fantastically Great Women', a touring musical designed by Olivier Award Winner Joanna Scotcher. 

Jess has been training as a singer since the age of 16 with Lisa Marsh and has passed her LCM Musical Theatre exams with Distinctions. She has performed in live gigs both solo and in a group and is now hoping to focus on more exams with LAMDA as well.
